Will Waipu Get Electric Power?

At last meeting of the North Auckland Power Board, it was revealed that there was some doubt as to whether Waipu -would join up with the board’s power reticulation scheme. In order to reach a decision, the Waipu Dairy Company is calling a public meeting on Wednesday, " with the object of seeing whether the revenue required can be guaranteed. It is stated that men will be/free to commence the reticulation of the area early in the New Year, but that, if the required revenue is not forthcoming, they will be transferred elsewhere.
