The second day o£ the Woodville Jockey Club’s meeting was held to-day in fine weather. There was a large attendance and the track was in good order. Results:—
Papatawa Hurdles, of 110 so vs.; It miles. —(3) Cletrac, 10.3, i: 16) Rapa Waiata, 9.3, 2; (5) Aurora’s Love. 9.4, 3. All started. Four lengths; half a length. Time: 2.50 1-5.
Novice Stakes, of 80 sovs.; special weights: six furlongs.— (1) Red Cat, 90. 1; (.3) Tommy Atkins. 8.4, 2; (2) Lovolit, 8.4. 3. Scr.; Royal Tinge. Guiding Light. Two lengths: a head. Time: 1.14.
Gothard Handicap, of 100 sovs.; one mile and a distance.—(s) Slippery, 7.6, 1; (2) Soho, 7.7, 2: 14) Wildflowor. 7.6. 2. Scr.: Grand Jury, Entail. Short head; half a head. Time: 1.55.
