HEAVY RAIN—SPECIAL FORECAST. The “Northern Advocate” was supplied with the following special 24« hours’ forecast for Northland by Mr H. M. Vincent:— Heavy rain is indicated, accompanied by strong north-easterly winds; seas rough. An intensive depression is expected to result in unsettled stormy conditions. Temperatures warm. SCATTERED SHOWERS LIKELY. The Weather Bureau has issued the following forecast for the 24 hours from 9 a.ra, today: The indications are for moderate northerly winds. Expect warm and humid conditions with scattered showers or misty rain is to be expected. The barometer has a falling tendency. Seas smooth to moderate. SUNRISE AND SUNSET, DECEMBER (Summer-Time Added).'
