Engine-Driver Collapses While Driving Train

Whiio driving the engine of a mixed tram travelling from Ohakunc to Marten at 9,30 this morning, Mr. Daniel Bailey, aged 49, collapsed and died. The train was nine miles north of Taihapo when Mr. Bailey collapsed. The fireman, Mr. D. R. Gordon, one of the youngest in the service, applied the emergency brake and. stopped (he train.
