— QPLENDIB OEGANIMATION, GOOD WEATHER AMD A RIG CROWD OF K ADULTS MADE FOR A MOST SUCCESSFUL MEETING OF THE NORTHERN MIDLAND DISTRICT TRIMARY SCHOOLS’ SPORTS ASSOCIATION, HELD AT IIAWKEN PARK, MAUNGATAPERE, YESTERDAY. Good financial returns were shown. Conditions were ideal for running, and the competitors put up good performances. Several records were broken. The Boys' Cup and Girls’ Cup. awarded on a percentage basks, went to Kirikopuni and Opoukeno respectively, whilst the Athletic Shield competition for total points gained resulted: Pakotai (051) 1, Poroii (84) 2. Titoki (674) 3. Mr J. Elliott, Auckland Education Board member for the Dargavillc district, addressed the gathering during the afternoon, and presented to Edith Fraser the Old Girls’ Cup. donated by Mr J. G. Draper, § and the Old Boys’ Cup to Bill Alison. This trophy was donated by Mr B. W. Smith.
