Hardening Tendency At Sydney Wool Sale
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY. December 9.
At the Sydney wool sales today 9327 bales were ofl’ered and 8830 were sold, and 1409 bales were sold privately. There was keen and sustained competition from the Continent and Yorkshire, with occasional support from Japan. The hardening tendency was well maintained. Greasy Merino made to 25 : ,‘d.
