CAMERON ST. PROPERTY AUCTIONED

Going, going, gone! The auctioneer knocked down his hammer, and this aftexmoon sold a Cameron Street property for the cash price of £3805. The auction was held in the offices of Messrs W. Wakelin and Sons, and the property offered on account of the trustees in the estate of the late Mr Thomas McClintock, and occupied by Mr R. V. Thompson, men’s outfitter, wag sold to Mann’s Estate, Whangarei. There was a good attendance at the sale, which created quite a good deal of interest. Bidding was spirited from the word go. The frontage of the property is 18 feet and it runs back for 99 feet. The purchase price works out at over £2lO per foot.
