QTEPPING on to the Customs launch from the steamer Matua in the stream at Auckland yeterday, the poit health officer, Mr G. Russell, fell into the harbour and was rescued by a member of tile Matau’s crew. A strong current was mainly responsible for the mishap, as the launch was moving when Dr. Russell made to step on .to it, and he lost his balance.—Special.
