Moerewa

Mi R. P. Bell, recently relieving headmaster at the Moerewa school, who is now filling a smiliar position at Kauri, was a visitor at the athleticsports meeting here last Saturday. Mr and Mrs Arcus, of Opua, who for some years were residents here, renewed old acquaintances at the spores meeting at Simson Park on Saturday. The customary whistles by which so many clocks are set here, and in the surrounding districts, were missed on Saturday last, a closed holiday being observed at the A.F.F. Co.’s works.
