Germany’s' Elaborate Colonial School
(Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 26,
The “Daily Herald” (Labour organ) has its leader page almost filled with a series of exclusive photographs of Germany’s elaborate Colonial School at Witzenhausen, Russia. Here young Germans, who will ultimately go abroad, are trained and gain knowledge of the features and needs from German colonies, notably SouthWest Africa.
One picture of a native hut, adorned with totems and mats, suggests that Samoa is not being neglected.
The “Herald” comments: “Herr Hitler did not show such pictures to Viscount Halifax.”
