Kaikohe Branch W.D.F.U.

The monthly meeting of the Kaikohe branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Masonic Hall on November 19. There was a smaller attendance than usual, owing to the proximity of two shows. Mrs J. Orr was in the chair.

The roll call. ‘ r Sing. say, or penny pay,” contributed toward thee afternoon’s entertainment, a recitation by Mrs Schepens being especially appreciated. The points competition was won by Mrs Graham, with Mrs Berry and Mrs Hall equal second. The trades table was in charge of Mrs Pollard, and the hostess for the afternoon was Mrs F. Rockell.
