Dairy Conference Telegrams To Minister

At the conclusion of the North Auckland Dairy Conference yesterday, copies of the following telegram were despatched to the Minister of Agriculture and to the Bureau of Industries: “This conference of directors of North Auckland dairy companies, bearing in muid the Government’s declared policy of fostering co-operative concerns, and, in view of the service rendered bv dairy companies in financing the purchases of fertilisei’s, requests the Government to place dairy companies at jocc ur the distributors’ list with respect 'o the sale of ;crtilisers.”

The conference also passed this resolution:—

“That dairy companies, through the National Dairy Association, be asked to circularise their shareholdex-s to support petitions requesting that the 2/6 per ton commission granted to merchants on superphosphate supplies be also extended to dairy companies.”
