New Season Under Way

Ideal weather attracted a good muster of marksmen to the opening of the Whangarei Defence Rifle Club’s 193738 season at the week-end. An allday shoct, over four ranges, was held, W. T. Norris having the best aggregate from S. E. Foot, J. Norris and President G. Neville. Rifleman W. Ncrris also won the National Tobacco Company’s Cup. He and D. E. Wilton tied over last season's shoots and on the deciding go # over four ranges, Norris succeeded. 1
