;per Press Association. Copyright.! AUCKLAND. This Day.

Accompanied by her son, Mr Fred Holland ,of Adelaide, Mrs Holland, widow of the late Mr Harry Holland, •former Leader of the Labour Party, arrived, by the Aorangi to attend the unveiling of the memorial to her husband at the Boulton Street Cemetery, Wellington on Saturday next. “My arrival in New Zealand today is very different from the arrival with my husband for the first time.” said Mrs Holland, sadly. ‘Then we were both young, and things were very different. My husband had come here at the request of the Waihi miners, to help them as he had helped others. We"did not know what was before us. but we were full of hope.

“Today I have my son with me, but otherwise lam alone. My husband would be very glad were he alive today. and he must be glad to know what his old comrades are doing. He would have done the same." Mrs Holland was met by Mr Roy Holland, of Wellington. This afternoon, she and her sons will be entertained by the Labour Club, and will leave for Wellington tomorrow, remaining in New Zealand for several weeks.
