K.D.V. Boxes Turn Loss Into A Profit

lSpecial To “Northern Adnocnfc”! AUCKLAND, This Day.

A net profit of £5999 is shown in the fourth annual report of K.D.V. Boxes, Ltd., for the year ended June 30. Last year there was a loss of £8405. No dividend is recommended, the last payment being 8 per cent in 1935.

The report of the directors states that the year has been one of great difficulty. The change to Governmental control has resulted in a great amount of arduous work and 'additional travelling and clerical work.

A severe setback was also received by the company through the fire at Kohukohu, when the loss amounted to £2500, and this had to be written off. However, sales had increased by over £25,000, and sales and transfers by over £43,000. Orders at present on hand should make the turnover as large for the new year as it was last year.
