MR NASH TO TALK TRADE ON CONTINENT

(Received 11.30 ajn.) LONDON, June 25:

. At the invitation of the respective governments, Mr Walter Nash, New Zealand Finance Minister, will, go to the Continent By air on: Sunday to pay visits to Copenhagen, Amsterdam arid Paris. He will discuss trade matters and return on Thursday; ; -

The' Minister hopes before going to Canada on Saturday, July 3, to reach a measure of finality .in the civil, air and shipping committees: ’ Announcement from these bodies are expected next week-end. Today Mr Nash will continue his conference with German trade representatives, who flew specially from Berlin in .connection with, trade discussions, commenced , on April 22. They are optimistic of

the outcome. Mr Nash will resume trade discussions with Canada, begun in 1936. Later he will visit Washington.

Other, members of, the delegation will .sail in the Mataroa .on July 9. Mr Nash will join them at Panama, on July 23, and will arrive at Auckland on August 12.
