Savage Outpoints George Walker a u Per Press Association. Covvrichtj WELLINGTON, This Day. Displaying his old-time guile and technique, George Walker made his appearance in the Town Hall last night before a crowded house.
His opponent, however, was the formidable Steve Savage, a scientific orthodox wrestler, who gained the decision on points with the falls even. Savage obtained his fall in the fourth round. Walker had dumped him twice, but, when he pounced on Savage to press him, the latter turned the tables on him smartly. In the last round. Walker pitched Savage about the ring like a sack of chaff, gave him an aeroplane spin and deposited and pinned him. The referee awarded the match to Savage, who had given a masterly display.
