CARRIERS. A conference of members of the North Auckland Carriers’ Association is to be held at Ohaeawai bn June 28 to consider the formation of a council & of North Auckland carriers. The Northern Wairoa delegates will be Messrs Neill and D. Tidey, of Dargaville, and G. Stall worthy, of Aratapa. INAUGURATION. There will be a colourful ceremony at Mangere Aerodrome on Saturday morning, when the new Union Airways service between Auckland and Wellington is inaugurated.
