Sequel To Alleged Attack On Leipzig (United Press Association. —By Electric Ttf egraph.—Copyright.} (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, June 21, The diplomatic correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says it is understood that'the German Ambassador, Herr von Ribberitrop, at the meeting of representatives of the patrolling Powers on Saturday, held to consider the alleged attacks on . the cruiser Leipzig by a submarine, demanded a quick decision for joint action. 5 The British Foreign Minister, Mr. Eden, agreed that a serious incident had arisen and approved of Germany’s undertaking the consultation before taking independent action. ‘ ; The conference referred to the varL bus Governments the following suggested procedure.— , V. A Moscow message says that published extracts show that the Soviet Ambassador to Britain, M. Maisky, on June 16, again wrote to thft NonIntervention Committee disclaiming the responsibility for the proposals of the four Powers respecting the Spanish naval patrol and guarantees, on the ground that they were, drawn up without the participation of the ether members of the committee.
