Empire Air Service For Pacific
(Received 11 a.m.) OTTAWA, June 20. The Canadian Minister of Transport, Mr C. Howe, in an address yesterday to the Canadian Engineering Institute, said the air service across Canada, which will shortly be inaugurated and which will connect with the transAtlantic service, will be extended across the Pacific to Australia and New Zealand in a few years as a part of ail all British Empire route. It is understood that a representative of the Canadian Post Office accompanied the Imperial Conference delegates to London to impress upon the British authorities the urgent necessity for the immediate establishment of a service across the Pacific.
