Four charges of stealing sacks, the property of Charles Edward Henderson, were preferred against Robert James Mann at the Whangarei Police Court this morning. The breaches were alleged to have spread over a period from May 17 to May 29, and the total value of the sacks was shown to be 7/3. Accused pleaded guilty on all charges. Detective T. Nalder said accused was out on license from Borstal.

Mr G. N. Morris: You have had previous experience and should know better.

On the first charge, Mann was fined £1 and ordered to make restitution on the other counts, the total amount involved being £2 7/-.
