High School Beat Old Boys
THE JUNIORS
No. 2 ground at Rugby Park provided a dry playing surface for the junior clash between Old Boys and High School. Strangely enough, neither side conceded a try. High School winning by a potted goal (Grant) to a penalty (Potter). The* second half was scoreless, with Old Boys having slightly the better of exchanges. ' Onerahi 24 (tries by Connolly (3), Joass (2), Curtis, Redmond and Fisher) beat Whatitiri 0. ’
Hikurangi Juniors Beat Maungaturoto
Hikurangi, last year’s junior champions, and Maungauroto met in a friendly game at Hikurangi. The visitors were not quite at full strength, and Hikurangi, on their home ground, played splendid football, to win by 29 points to 0.
