Primary School Football Administrators
At the annual meeting of the Whangarei Primary Schools Rugby Association, which also controls school basketball in the area, officers were elected as follows:
President, Mr K. Hayr; vice-presi-dent, Mr W. Hallett; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Rarity; executive, Messrs Knowlton and J. Broomfield and Misses D. Morrison and P. Deane. It was reported that the organisation of groups for the playing of 15-a-side Rugby matches was proceeding satisfactorily. Mr K, Hayr has received information from the, Auckland centre which makes it almost definite that the annual provincial tournament for the Northern Roller Mills Shield will be staged in Whangarei this winter.
