. ‘‘Peace missions” connected with the American evangelist Father Divine’s movement exist in Sydney and Melbourne. According to one Sydney newspaper, a New Zealand woman started a local centre in 1924. She says Father , Divine’s followers recognise his presence as God, instead of flunking of God in- heaven.
Flying solo from Australia to England, Mr H. F. Broadbent, arrived at Basra, Iraq, on Saturday from Karachi, and later was reported as having flown over Bagdad.
