Auckland - Wellington Air Route Surveys In June

[Special ■To “Northern Advocate.”] AUCKLAND, This Day.

Though no date has been fixed for the actual commencement of the Auck-land-Wellington air service, test flights and aerial surveys of the route will be mgde towards the end of June, and at the beginning of July. Two of the new Lockheed Electra aeroplanes to be used by Union* Airways in preliminary and scheduled flights are expected to arrive by boat at Auckland on May 20, and the third machine of the fleet on June 23. Two planes will be assembled at Hobsonville air base and one either at Wellington or Auckland.
