[Per Press Association* Copyright.] GREYMOUTH, This Day. The Westland Trotting Club’s annual meeting was held today in fine, but overcast weather before a fair attendance. The totalisator handled £6,021, against £6,195 last year, a decrease of £174, when the meeting was held at Greyxnouth.—
Stafford Handicap, of 100 sovs; saddle;- eight and a half furlongs.—(-1) Gallinfor d, 12yds, 1; (2) Brian Boru, scr, 2; (3) Hermes, scr, 3. Six started. A length; four lengths. Time—2.2s 2-5. Westland Handicap, of 160 sovs; twelve furlongs and a half.—(2) Eastern Prince, 12yds, 1; (4) Icevus, 12yds, 2; (1) Donald Dhu, scr, 3. Six started. A* length; a length and a half. Time — 3.37.
Dominion Handicap, of 105 sovs; trotters; fourteen furlongs and a half. )4) Tasman Flight, 60yds, 1; (2) Braemar, scr, 2; (3) Fluke, scr, 3, Six started, A length; two lengths. Time — 4.232-5/
