ft Figures Up at All Four I Centres The total sum collected through the Customs Department, Auckland, for the 1936-37 financial year was £5,144,981, an increase of £813,111 on the 1935-36 year. Customs revenue, including petrol and tyre duties, amounted to £4,026,S6B an increase of £601,364 over the 1935-36 figuare. Ordinary Customs receipts totalled £3,290,681, an increase of £504,729. Excise on beer produced £177,534, .compared with £148,09p in the preced- j vng 12 months, or nearly 20 per cent ; acre.
