HITLER-LUDENDORFF QUARREL PATCHED UP

LONDON, March 30. “The Times” Munich correspondent says the long-standing quarrel between Herr Hitler and General Ludendorff, famous war -leader, who, despite being associated with Herr Hitler’s abortive “putsch” in 1923, and later being tried; together for high treason, became bitter, enemies, has been composed. It is officially announced that in the interests of the German people the grievances are how removed. General Ludendorff expressed satisfaction .at Herr . Hitler’s attitude to the Versailles Treaty, especially restoring full German sovereignty on the Rhine. , • ‘
Herr Hitler welcomes personal contact between General Ludendorff, the Third Reich and the Army. General Ludendorffs enmity developed when Herr Hitler appointed men like General von Boehm to Reading posts in the movement. ■ *
General Ludepdorff’s publication was confiscated in January for denunciation of German policy in Sphin, which, he said, was only to the advantage of Italy. It is now suggested that General Ludendorff may be given 'an important position in the Reichswehr. , / Secret Meeting. The Munich correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that Herr Hitler and General Ludendorff met secretly yesterday in the village of Tutzing, 30 miles from Munich, where the general been living since his retirement, and whither Herr Hitler specially motored.' It was their first talk since 1924. The real purpose of the meeting has not been. revealed, but it is generally assumed that the Spanish situation prompted Herr Hitler to / seek advice from Germany's most , experienced army commander. It is believed that he persuaded General Ludendorff to leave Hs retirement and accept an active pos in the German War Ministry. /
