Exciting finishes were a feature of the concluding day of the Auckland Racing Club's autumn meeting at Ellerslie yesterday. Conditions were excellent. The totalisator handled £30,779, against £53.832 on the second day last year, a decrease of £23.053. The investments for the meeting amounted to £85.766. compared with £102.291 last year, a decrease of £6.523.’ Results;— Autumn Steeplechase, of 350 sovs; about three miles. —(1) Tudor, 11.5, 1; (2) Forest Glow. 9.9. 2; (3) Irish Comet, 9.4 (car. 9.8). 3.
