MOUNTAINEERING TRAGEDY,—A mountaineering tragedy which resulted in the loss of three lives occurred on Saturday on Mt. Trent, in the Southern Alps. GEORGE EDWARDS, one of the young men to loss his life in the accident is seen looking at the Rudolf Glacier, northof the scene of the tragedy. INSET, "Don" Divers (left) and George Edwards, both of Dunedin, and two of the most outstanding young New Zealand mountaineers, who, with Roy Stevenson, of Oamaru, were killed while attempting the conqueat of Mt. Trent.
