j Easter visitors were Mr and Mrs P- ; Yendell and family; Mr and Mrs C. Bowman; Mrs RicScard and family; Mrs Athol Masters and family, and Miss Moore; Dr. Smith, of Rawene; Mr and Mrs P. Hawkins; Mr and Mrs Blomfield; Mrs W. Parker and daughter; the Misses Anna and Jean Matthews, D. Simms and Miss D. Flynn; Mr and Mrs W. Thompson and family; i and Mr and Mrs R. Lewis. ! Dance.
A very enjoyable function was held in the Roma Hall on Wednesday night, the occasion being a farewell for the Rev. Poihipu and Mrs Poihipu, who have been transferred to the Thames. Speeches were made by Mr P. Braik and Mr Gordon Kirgan. A presentation was made on behalf of the people of the district by Mr Braik.
