POST OFFICE REVENUE; BIG INCREASE

A further substantial increase in Post Office revenue over the amount earned for the same period last year is shown in the figures for the 11 months ended February 28. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones,'said last evening that there had been an all-round increase in the department's services, and that the aggregate gain was £298,019. The comparative figures of the 11 months of the 1936-37 and 1935-36 respectively were as follows:
The total revenue from all classes was £3,500,287, as compared with £3,202,268 for the previous eleven months.
