Garbo’s Unknown Suitors
Rumours that Greta Garbo is contemplating marriage are once more published in the Swedish newspapers, though there is a difference of opinion legarding the favoured suitor, “Aftonbladet” declares that he is a j Swedish painter “well known both at home and abroad,” but does not mention his name. Another Stockholm newspaper, “Allehanda, ’ publishes a message from Hollywood suggesting that the Swedish film star- has decided to marry an American, and that she is planning to settle permanently in California. The message adds that the couple are already building a villa, and that the husband-to-be is supervising the furnishing. • In Stockholm people well acquainted with Greta Garbo deny these reports. —Reuter.
