Practice For Drivers
Judging from the unusual number of road accidents over the recent holiday period, New Zealand motorists must leave a large proportion of their driving practice until they get on the main roads. In America, however, facilities are being provided for drivers who wish to become expert in the handling of their cars, and in Chicago a practice field for motorists, with hills, curves, straightaways, crossings, junctions, traffic lights and dummy children to dart across the road is being laid out. Fog and rain are to be “on tap,” a sd there will be a special skidding ground.
