Collinson - Alexander

A quiet wedding was solemnised in Christ Church, Whangarei, when James, third son of Mr and Mrs G. Collinson, of Kiripaka, was married to Doreen. Clara, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Alexander, of Whangarei. The officiating minister was the Rev. H. t. Steele. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a grey costume and pink hat. She carried a pink and white bouquet, tied with white satin streamers. / She was attended by Miss Ruby Collinson, as bridesmaid. She wore a pink floral voile frock and white hat. She- carried a pink and white bouquet, Mr S. Alexander, brother of the bride, was best man. s After the ceremony, the wedding breakfast was held in the Commercial Cafe where a number of friends and relatives were present. In honour of the occasion, Mr and Mrs Alexander later welcomed a number of friends at a-social evening in the Kiripaka Hall.
