Mrs S. Atkinson, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs Frow, senr.. King Street, for a short holiday.
Mrs N. Gibson, accompanied by Douglas and Peggy, loft last Saturday
for a three months’ holiday to be spent in Invercargill. Geraldine and Greymouth.
Mrs J. Tomlinson relumed home last Thursday after throe weeks in Auckland,
Mr and Mrs P. Craighead arrived in Hikurangi from Ohaupo on Saturday. Mr Craighead is returning on Monday and Mrs Craighead is staying with her parents. Mr and Mrs C, Stoekley, senr.. foi a few days.
Mr and Mrs J. Rutherford are the guerls of the latter's parents. Mr and Mrs 11. Thomas. Warn.
Mr T. C. Conway left Hikurangi on Tuesday on transfer to Auckland. His successor. Mr J. Blake, accompanied by his wife and two children have taken up residence in Church Street.
Miss B. Hayward is home from Whangarei for three weeks.
After three years in Hikurangi as the manager of Wallace Supplies, Mr L. C. Wilson leaves at the week-end on transfer, probably to Rotorua. Mrs Wilson left yesterday to spend a short holiday with Mrs J. J. Coulter at Matamata. who has been in Hikurangi for a few days. Mr J. K. Caldwell arrived from Auckland on Thursday to take the local branch management.
