SEARCH FOR PEACE
BRITISH NON-PARTY ACTION RUGBY, January 3. The National, Labour and Liberal leaders, also Mr. Winstone Churchill and Mr. Lloyd. George, together with three non-political leaders of Britain, including the Archbishop of Canterbury, have- signed a declaration favouring world peace and pointing the way to it. The signatories urge that in any reform of the Covenant the collective security system of the League shall be strengthened for prevention of war. They suggest that effective machinery for remedying by peaceful means international conditions which might lead to war should be established within the framework of the League.
