AUSTRALIA - N.Z. AIR SERVICE
FORM OF CONTROL TO BE SETTLED (Received 11 a.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. The Federal Cabinet yesterday gave consideration to the proposed air mail service between Australia and New Zealand. It was stated, after an adjournment, that little progress can be made until 1 the three Governments concerned —the British, Australian and New Zealand—agree on the precise form of control. The Federal Government intends to insist that the service shall be available to passengers, as well as mails, and will also insist that the personnel of the service be recruited in Australia, and that there should be effective control in Australia.
