LI LITTLE BUSINESS ON BRITISH STOCK MARKETS (Received 10 a.rn ' LONDON, December 7. On the Stock Markets there was little business, and transactions in some speculative sections had been reduced by 50 per cent. Even investment sections have seriously contracted, and business is not expected to improve until the crisis has ended. Cotton manufacturers, in spite of having £1,000,000 worth of Coronation orders at stake, arc calmly awaiting the outcome. At present there is no large cancellation of orders, but work has been suspended on flags and bunting containing the King’s portrait.
