KUPE CLUB MEMBERS

AN EXTRA SPECIAL CONTEST

HALF-GUINEA PRIZE TO BE WON

Nine hundred Northianders belong 1 to Ihe happiest band of young people in North Auckland. All are members of the Kupe Club. Each has the privilege of wearing the special badge of the Club—a neat little tiki in green, on a silver background, with blue enamel border. Members are proud of their Kupe Club as they are proud of the Club badge. To make the world a better place to live in by being happy themselves and bringing sunshine into the lives of others, is the aim of this lucky nine hundred. They will welcome the chance of introducing others to their circle, and this they can do by telling their friends what splendid times we have together in the “Young North lander” and providing an enrolment form to be filled in. And here’s a stimulus! Below is printed a special for m for Club members to give their friends to fill in. It will! be. notic ed that at the end of the form is a line for the signature of the war rior or maiden who introduces the new member. It is just one month to our first birthday, and we want to see who can get us the most new members by that day. A special prize of 10/6 is being offered. Cut out the form, give it to your friend to fill in, then, after writing your own name bn the line left for that purpose, send the form post haste to Kupe, c/o “Advocate” Office, Water Street, Whangarei. Probably there’s more than on e member you’lll want to enrol. If so, make a copy of the form on a sheet of paper and have it filled in in the ordinary way. Special forms may also be obtained from this office. If you want some just drop a line without delay to Kupe. At headquarters all the new enrolments will be saved up, so at the end of the month it will be easy to tell who has obtained for us the greatest number of new members. Ten and six at the beginning of the holidays! It will be a very acceptable prize.. Then of course, there will be ’books and certificates of merit for other hard workers. Set to at once, my followers. Here is a chance to win a substantial cash prize and at the same time help along your very own Kupe Club.
