WELLINGTON HOSPITAL BUILDING SCHEME

[Per Press Association. Copyright.'] WELLINGTON, This Day.

Immediate application to the Local Government Loans Board for authority to raise £ 150,000, was decided on by the Wellington Hospital Board on Thursday night. This amount x'epresents the more urgent portion of the board’s major building scheme. The board declined a suggestion that application should be made for the maximum loan of £600,000 to complete the entire scheme. It was agreed to hold this matter in abeyance, and that the Sydney architects who were supervising the plans should be asked to come over to discuss the whole matter with the board, and see where money could be saved.
