The showboat, formerly an American sailing vessel, which was dismantled in Auckland and served as a hulk until last year, when it was moored off the eastern reclamation and converted into a floating cabaret, was discovered shortly after midnight to be making water rapidly. For some months it has been conducted as a dance club, and today the dance floof is under eight to ten feet of waterThe police are investigating. It is alleged that eight holes mad' 1 with an auger were discovered in tho side of the hulk.
