Miss Kilgallen and Mr. Kieran, two journalists representing the Hearst Group and the North American Newspaper Alliance respectively, ‘Completed their journey round the world to-day when they reached New York. Miss Kilgallen’s time was 24 days 12 hours 51 minutes, and that of Mr. Kieran 24 days 14 hours 20 minutes. The third competitor in the race, Mr. Edkins, reached New York, the starting-point, last week, having completed the journey in 18J days.
