Mr and Mrs W. Reynolds have returned to Whangarei, after an enjoyable tour of Great Britain.
* Telegraph advice was received at the local Catholic Presbytery this morning f that the Rev. Father Francis Kerley, S.M., late of St. Albert, Auckland, passed away at Christchurch yesterday morning.
The Rev. E. P. Blamires, president of the N.Z. Methodist Conference, who visited the Bible Class rally at Kaikohe yesterday, is spending a day or two in Whangarei, as the guest of the Rev. O. Burnet, and is to be entertained at a social tonight. Mr. J. G. Barclay, M.P. for Marsden, returned to Wellington today after • spending the week-end in his constituency. He addressed a meeting at Silverdale on Saturday evening, and, in addition to local matters, discussed the guaranteed price.
