MR SAVAGE PLANS TOUR OF N.Z.

It is the intention of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, to visit the main centres of the Dominion as soon as possible after the conclusion of the present session. Mr Savage said this morning that he considered it desirable that the head of the Government should keep in touch with the people as much as possible. He did not know whether he would be addressing public meetings, as no plans had yet been mapped out, but he would certainly visit as many parts of the country as possible. The Prime Minister also indicated that it was his desire to visit centres of Maori population, in order to dscuss at first-hand problems affecting the native race.
