WHAKAPARA
Miss Ruth Nelson has spent a very enjoyable week with Mrs P. Cossey, of Hukerenui. Mrs O. Cossey is spending a few weeks with her sister-in-law, Mrs W. Cossey, of Maromaku. The many friends of Master S. Cossey, of Hukerenui, will regret to hear 'that he has been confined to bed for several weeks owing to an accident which befel him on a farm at Maromaku. He is now progressing very favourably whilst recuperating at home under his mother’s nursing, Miss McLean, of Waipu, is the guest of Mrs A. Finlayson, Kaimamaku Road, Whakapara. Mr E. J. Jordan, of Puhipuhi, wha has been incapacitated for several weeks through a painful accident to his eye, is novr on the road to complete recovery, and getting around again. Mr and Mrs F. G. Long, of Tanekaha, Jordan Valley, are very busy packing and getting ready to remove to Auckland, where they will be joined by their son in their new home at Remuera. Mrs Long is a daughter of Mr and Mrs F. Elliott, senr., of Jordan Valley. Mr and Mrs Sanson, of Tapuhi, are taking over Mr Long’s farm almost immediately. In saying au revoir to Mr and Mrs Long and family, a hearty welcome is extended to Mr and Mrs Sanson and family.
