TWO N.Z. HORSES WIN MELBOURNE, June 7. The jumping season in Victoria was opened yesterday with the Victoria Racing Club’s June meeting at Flemington. Results:— Sandringham Handicap, of 500 sovs; one mile and a quarter.—Jack Horner (N.Z.), 7.4, 1; Greenhorn, 8.0, 2; Petit Fils, 9.4, 3. Sixteen started. Half a length; a length. Time—2.s. Hopetoun Steeplecrase, of 500 sovs; about two miles and half a furlong.— Pactolus. 1; Santa Casa, 9.0, 2; Woodlace, 10.5, 3. Thirteen started. Three lengths and a half; two lengths. Time —4.2 J. York Hurdles, of 500 sovs; two miles. —Full Charge, 11.8, 1; Sarno, 9.0, 2; Cape Race (N.Z.), 9.0, 3. Ten started. Five lengths; three lengths. Time—--3.391.
