WHANGAREI HIGH SCHOOL
APPbINTMENT OF ENGLISH MASTER - \ The Board of Governors has appointed Mr A. C. Zohrab, M.A., as senior English master to fill the vacancy caused by the departure of Mr D. A. Bird, Mr Zohrab possesses high scholastic qualifications, he has gained honours in English and Frenfch, and he is at present taking the senior English at the Palmerston North Boys’ High School. He has taken an active part in the outside games of the school, particularly football and cricket, and, apart from his own interest in' amateur dramatic work, has organised and developed this activity in the school to a high standard of excellence. Mr Zohrab hopes to be able to take up his new appointment in about a month’s time.
