RIFLE CLUB’S SEASON NEARS END

W. NORRIS NOTCHES GOOD WIN

The penultimate meet of marksmen of the Whangarei Rifle Club for this season over the week-end involved the last shoot for the" Club Cup. ,

Over the 500 and 600 yards ranges, windy and wet conditions were encountered, but W. Norris registered a good performance in top-scoring.

The final shoot of the season eventuates next week-end, when competition over four ranges will decide the club champion and the “Advocate” Cup winner. Last week-end’s scores were:—
