MAN FOUND DEAD IN CENTRAL PARK

NEWCOMER TO DISTRICT

The body of a man, aged about 30, was found in Central Park at about 8 o’clock this morning by the caretaker, Mr. R. Worner. The body was lying about 14 feet from the bank of the river just below the swimming pool. From correspond'ence'found in the man’s clothing, deceased is thought to be Daniel Inglis, who recently came to Whangarei, and is known to have been in the district for about a week. He came from Hawke’s Bay, and is believed to have a brother at Napier and a mother at Havelock North. The body was taken'to the morgue pending further investigations.
